ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Source new sales opportunities through outbound cold calls and emails
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects

 

EDUCATION, SKILL, EXPERIENCE OF SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES:

  • Proven skills in customer service, upselling, generating leads, or inside sales experience
  • Track record of achieving quota
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong drive to be persistent as not every customer is going to be a sale
  • Strong listening skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

 

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Standard office environment. Individual will frequently be required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear. Occasionally may have to lift boxes full of materials for purposes of setup of programs, typically 20 pounds or less.
